What does this have to do with photography you may ask? Well, I personally think it has everything to do with it. If we’re going to be good artists we need to be interested in what it means to be human. Otherwise how will we make art of any value?

Good art is not just pretty pictures, at least not in my book! I am always trying to better understand myself and the world so that I can move through life with more grace, compassion, and joy, even when the going gets tough.
